Back to Blog
I would like to welcome everyone to my introductory blog. I have been a passionate plant person for as long as I can remember. Thinking back to the early days to my first Coleus plant and my very first vegetable garden and how my plant experience has grown. Today,I run Interior Plantworks, Inc. a full scale interior plantscape company.
We supply and service live plant for commercial and residential environments. Also, I run Up the Wall Ct,
Where we specialized in vertical growing.
We sell and supply vertical growing system
to create living vertical gardens. I guess I
became a professional plant person in 1982
when I first opened my doors.
Today I invite everyone to come on in.
As this blog grows I will be discussing many different and varied plant topics. Of course I will cover (in detail) the topic that I love, which is many. I will also discuss topics that are just amazing and some that are just helpful. I do hope you enjoy my comments on house plants, office plants, vertical gardening, greens walls, and the love plants.
As we enter into spring and our outside growing season, I have been preparing to plant outside any day now when the weather is safe. This year I will be only growing vertically and I will also be growing in containers. I have decided to grow three different vertical gardens and a series connect rectangular window box planters. The themes of the three vertical gardens is such- 1st garden will be blaze of white and pink Caladiums. My 2st garden will be my leafy vegetables, and the 3th will be a collection of ferns and tropical plants for a semi shaded spot just for fun. The window boxes will line the outside of my deck and I will grow only Basil. I have set up the 8 window boxes on a drip irrigation line to water and feed my Basil for the season. You can’t grow enough Basil.
As my gardens grow I will continue to give you updates on all my progress. I look forward to sharing “the secret life of plants” and my plant world with you.
